About this dish
Blini are thin Russian crêpes, eaten at any time of day — and, during Maslenitsa week at the end of winter, by the stack. They can go sweet or savoury, which is why they come plain and you finish them yourself.
Order three, or a pile of twenty for the table. Add sour cream, honey, condensed milk or Nutella, berries and banana; or go savoury with semi-salted salmon, red or black caviar, turkey ham or chicken doktorskaya sausage.
