Your data

Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Pechka account and the personal data attached to it at any time. This page explains how to do it, what happens during the 30 days that follow, and what we keep afterwards.

How to delete your account

There are three routes, depending on whether you can still sign in. We ask you to sign in wherever possible, because the email address on an account is exactly what we are protecting — it cannot also be the key that destroys it.

If you can sign in

Go to Account, then Security, and choose Close account. This is the fastest route and it works immediately. Open Account · Security

If you are signed out

Sign in first, then follow the route above. Signing in is how we confirm the account is yours; we do not ask for anything else.

If you cannot sign in at all

If you have lost access to the phone number or email on the account, write to us at contact@pechka.ae

  • The email address or phone number you used with Pechka
  • The approximate date of your most recent order, if you remember it
  • A note that you are asking for your account to be deleted

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and we will reply either way. We cannot delete an account on the word of someone who cannot show it is theirs.

What happens next

Asking does not erase anything straight away. Your account is scheduled for erasure 30 days later, and it stays scheduled until that date passes.

  • You can cancel at any point during those days by signing in again — nothing is lost.
  • We email you when the request is made and again when it is carried out.
  • The delay is deliberate: it means an account someone else has taken over cannot be erased before the real owner notices.

What you give up

Erasure is permanent and it forfeits everything on the account. There is no way to restore it afterwards, and we cannot transfer it to another account.

  • Store credit, whatever the balance
  • Sushki points, including any earned but not yet spent
  • Gift cards attached to the account and not yet redeemed

If you are holding a balance, spend it before you ask. Once the erasure runs it cannot be reversed.

What is erased

When the request runs, we remove the personal data we hold about you. That includes data attached to your account and data we hold under the phone numbers and email addresses the account has used, so a guest order placed with the same number is erased too.

  • Your profile — name, email, phone number, date of birth and photo
  • Saved delivery addresses, delivery notes and your preferred branch
  • Food preferences, allergen notes and saved favourites
  • Loyalty and store-credit records, wallet cards and their barcodes
  • Your sign-in credentials and every device session

What we keep, and why

Three things survive, and each for a reason we can state plainly.

Past orders, with your name removed

The order records themselves remain, because they are our financial records. Your name, phone number, email address and IP address are stripped from them, so what is left is a transaction rather than a person.

Tax invoices

UAE law requires us to keep tax invoices for a set period. We cannot delete them on request, and we do not use them for anything else while we hold them.

Your record of asking us not to contact you

If you had unsubscribed from marketing or opted out of WhatsApp, we keep that record on purpose. Deleting it would not erase you — it would make you contactable again, which is the opposite of what you asked for.

Our full retention practices are set out in the Privacy Policy
