Modern Slavery & Anti-Trafficking
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Our commitment
We are committed to respecting the dignity, freedom and rights of everyone who works for us or with us. We do not tolerate forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, bonded labour, prison labour, involuntary labour, or the exploitation of vulnerable workers, in any form.
Policies and standards
- Respect for human rights — treating all workers fairly and with dignity.
- Ethical business conduct — maintaining integrity in our activities and relationships.
- Equal opportunity — a workplace free from discrimination, harassment and exploitation.
- Fair employment practices — complying with applicable labour and employment law.
- Health and safety — promoting safe, healthy working environments.
What we expect from suppliers
We expect our suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable labour laws, prohibit forced labour, human trafficking and child labour, respect workers’ rights, provide safe working conditions, and operate ethically. Where appropriate we may ask for information or assurances about labour standards, and we reserve the right to review a supplier relationship where concerns arise.
Risk assessment and due diligence
We seek to identify and manage risks relating to modern slavery and human trafficking by reviewing supplier relationships, assessing new vendors before engaging them, monitoring business partnerships, and encouraging ethical sourcing. We recognise this is an ongoing process that will continue to develop as our business grows.
Recruitment and employment
We work to ensure that:
- Employment with us is voluntary.
- Workers are free to leave in accordance with applicable law.
- Employees receive lawful compensation and benefits.
- Employment documentation is transparent.
- Workers are treated fairly and with respect.
Awareness and training
As appropriate to our business, we provide guidance to management and relevant employees on human rights responsibilities, ethical employment practices, recognising the signs of exploitation, and how to report concerns.
Raising a concern
If you are an employee, supplier, contractor or business partner and you have a concern about unethical behaviour, labour exploitation or a potential human rights violation, we want to hear about it. You can raise it with management directly, or contact us in confidence at contact@pechka.ae.
Reports are treated seriously and handled discreetly. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
Review and continuous improvement
As Pechka grows, we aim to strengthen our policies, supplier engagement, awareness initiatives and due diligence practices. This statement is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect our current practice.
